Open Question: Very IMPORTANT QUESTION REGUARDING A DELL LAPTOP!!!?

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop. I am wanting to, I guess it is called REFORMAT, I am not to positive. I am hoping I can do it all myself. I have the operating system disc and the applications disc and the drivers/utilities disc.
